gobble gobble

thanksgiving was great. the people that live down stairs brought a pumpkin cheesecake and jello desserts. The saintly grandparents babysat the triplets while the whole bunch went sledding. 8 adults and 7 runkins ate the turkey to the bone. The pies were just gobbled. best of all the grandmother prettied up the place and rather festive.

the 3 new babies have invaded 3 critical areas on my life, (my purse, my time, and my heart)

it has been a long time since the last post. caitlyn is walking and talking. her favorite words are mommy, daddy, doggy, and "more". Whereas clark just finished his preschool graduation and knows how to ride a iron man bike with training wheels. I have been busy with bed rest and just finished the Tale of Two Cities and War and Peace. Chad has been getting time off for when I need him most after the triplets come on June 9.

a few pics for grandma

how fast the days fly

I realized I have not updated my blog in awhile. Darn that facebook! We have been busy this fall with various things. Along with our already busy lives, Clark started preschool and we have all been canning up a storm. We have really been enjoying this fall weather. We have had to turn on our furnace already ! I even changed out the thermostat myself. The kids are growing up fast. Clark is getting good with letters, numbers, colors and shapes. He is also starting to really listen and understand everything we say. (agh!) Caitlyn will be walking soon I think. She is all charm and shy grace. I am starting another round of weight watchers, and I am enjoying working out with my sister still. Chad is always busy with projects when he is home from work. Right now he is working on a train table for Clark that also converts into a ping pong table. We are all happy.

Memorial Day Pics

We had a great memorial weekend this year. We went to Wyoming to see Chads family. We got to visit with Chads brother Joe and watch as he blessed their new son James. He is a real cutie. We also got to go paintballing, which I have to admit was a little intense for me. Clark shot his first real gun with his dad helping, but his favorite was the paintball gun because he liked "checking" where he had hit the target. We also hunted asparagus, but no animals this time of year. We did come back with a moose though. It was Chad's dads, but we decided it needed to come and visit our basement family room for awhile. Clark wanted it in his room, but we declined the offer. Carene, (Chads sister) and her family brought their pigme goats and we all got a turn bottle-feeding them. It was great fun. Clark thought it was cool until he was sitting there screaming while the goats licked his hair. I have heard of cow-licks, but goat-licks? We also visited the graveyard. It makes this momma awfully sad every time we visit our dear little darling Elena. I miss what could have been.
